Privacy Policy
This draft describes the Phase 0 Tripmambo website and waitlist. It does not cover future travel accounts, bookings, payments, photo uploads, or community features. Those features will require updated notices before they launch.

1. Who we are
Tripmambo is a travel companion being developed for solo travelers, couples, friends’ trips, and families. This website is operated by [LEGAL OPERATOR NAME], referred to here as Tripmambo, we, or us. 2. Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, home airport code, and whether you choose to receive optional marketing emails. We also record signup time, signup source, consent status and version, confirmation-email status, and any unsubscribe request.
Our hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request times, and delivery or security logs. Our application uses a keyed hash of your IP address to limit repeated signup attempts; it does not store the raw IP address in the waitlist rate-limit table. Hosting providers may separately retain IP addresses in their logs.
Phase 0 does not ask for passwords, payment details, passport information, precise location, or travel photos. The homepage trip prompt is not saved as part of the waitlist.
3. How we use information
We use your information to maintain the waitlist, send a signup confirmation, communicate about waitlist access and launch availability, understand which departure airports interest travelers, and protect the website against abuse.
We send promotional news and offers only if you select the separate optional marketing checkbox. Leaving it unchecked does not prevent you from joining the waitlist. We do not use Phase 0 waitlist submissions to train an AI model or send them to an AI provider.
4. Providers and other disclosures
The planned Phase 0 services are Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for waitlist storage, and Resend for confirmation and other authorized email delivery. These providers process the information needed to perform their services. Google Fonts serves the website’s typefaces, which involves a connection from your browser to Google and may disclose your IP address and browser information.
We do not sell waitlist information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights or security, or carry out a business reorganization, subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The current Phase 0 application does not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs and does not set application cookies for the waitlist. Hosting or security services may use technical mechanisms needed to operate and protect the website. We will update this notice and provide any required choices before introducing optional tracking.
6. Retention and security
We retain waitlist information for the purposes described here, subject to applicable legal requirements. Expired application rate-limit records are removed during subsequent signup attempts after their one-day cleanup threshold. Provider logs, backups, and retention settings are separate and must be confirmed for the deployed services.
We use access controls and server-side handling of service credentials to protect information. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices and requests
You can leave the waitlist and stop optional marketing through the unsubscribe link in our emails. To request access, correction, or deletion, or ask a privacy question, contact [PUBLIC CONTACT EMAIL]. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information before acting on it.
Depending on your location and the laws that apply to Tripmambo, you may have additional rights, including portability, restriction or objection to processing, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to a regulator. 8. International processing

9. Families and children’s information
Families are part of Tripmambo’s intended travel audience. The Phase 0 waitlist is not designed to collect information about children or allow adults to submit children’s information.
